About Rogue Resistance
Resistance from Oregon's Rogue Valley
Rogue Resistance is an independent activist merchandise company based in Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley, creating clever resistance gear for the long fight ahead.
Founded in October 2025 as Portland's "No Kings" protests echoed across Oregon and Chicago's communities organized against ICE raids, we knew the resistance needed more than slogans—it needed infrastructure, wit, and staying power.
Who We Are
We're from the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon—a place where rebellion is literally in our name. The word "rogue" means independent, unconventional, refusing to follow the rules. It's perfect.
We create sophisticated activist merchandise that's as clever as it is committed:
- Bourbon with no ICE (our flagship design that makes people stop and think)
- Community defense tools (warning signs for ICE alerts, know-your-rights cards)
- Constitutional resistance gear (3rd Amendment business sanctuary signs)
- Pop culture activism (Revolutionary Clip, anyone?)
- Bold statements (for when subtle won't cut it)
What Makes Us Different
Clever, Not Clichéd
We do wordplay, wit, and sophistication. Anyone can screen-print "RESIST" on a shirt. We make you laugh, then make you think, then make you act.
Functional Infrastructure
Our "WARNING: ICE AHEAD" signs aren't just merch—they're actual community defense tools. Our 3rd Amendment business sanctuary signs give proprietors constitutional language to deny ICE access. We build organizing infrastructure, not just t-shirts.
Authentic Regional Identity
We're from Rogue Valley, Oregon—not Portland, not the coast, not some coastal elite bubble. We're Southern Oregon stubborn, independent, and a little bit wild. We know what it means to organize in red counties. We know what it means to be the resistance in Trump country.
Multiple Entry Points
Whether you're ready for our cute sad mammoth ("End the Ice Age") or our militant 3rd Amendment sanctuary sign, we have designs for every comfort level. Gateway activism to serious organizing.
Our Mission
To create resistance merchandise that supports community organizing, immigrant rights, anti-fascist action, and constitutional defense—while being clever enough to go viral and functional enough to actually help.
We're in this for the long fight. Not just one election, one protest, one news cycle. We're building infrastructure for sustained resistance.
Our Values
Anti-Fascist Resistance - We stand against authoritarianism in all forms. No kings. No dictators. No compromise with fascism.
Immigrant Rights & Sanctuary Communities - We support sanctuary cities, know-your-rights organizing, and community defense against ICE raids.
Constitutional Rights - We defend the First Amendment (free speech, assembly, press), the Third Amendment (no quartering without consent), and the constitutional separation of powers.
Community Organizing & Mutual Aid - We believe communities keep us safe. Not ICE. Not Trump. Us.
Clever Activism - Wit disarms. Humor spreads. Wordplay makes people pause. We use all of it.
Why "Rogue Resistance"?
The name does double duty:
-
Rogue Valley - We're literally from Oregon's Rogue Valley, between Ashland and Grants Pass, in the shadow of the Siskiyou Mountains.
-
Going Rogue - We're independent, rebellious, refusing to follow authoritarian rules. We've gone rogue.
It's too perfect. Rebellion is in our name.
How We Operate
Print-on-Demand - We use Printful for ethical, quality printing. No sweatshops. No waste. No inventory gathering dust. We print what you order.
Independent & Grassroots - We're not funded by a national org. We're not part of a corporate "resistance" brand. We're one person in Southern Oregon who got fed up and started printing clever shirts.
Community Support - A portion of proceeds goes to organizing funds supporting immigrant rights, sanctuary cities, and community defense. (Exact percentage TBD as we establish sustainable operations.)
Transparent & Real - We're at info@rogueresistance.org. We're in Rogue Valley, Oregon. We're real people doing real work.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Joe - Founder & Designer
I'm the person behind Rogue Resistance. I grew up in a politically active family and have attended protests throughout my adult life, but I'll admit - I've mostly been a participant, not an organizer. What I lack in organizing experience, I make up for in passion for the freedoms our Constitution guarantees and the belief that no human being is illegal.
As the child of an Asian immigrant, I grew up watching firsthand the prejudice immigrants face in America. That experience shaped my conviction that human rights, labor rights, and the freedom to be who you are inside aren't negotiable - they're fundamental. Every person deserves dignity, safety, and the chance to build a life without fear.
I grew up in the Rogue Valley, and many of my closest friends call Portland home. Seeing lies spread about our communities by the misinformed - and worse, seeing federal agents walking our streets - lit a fire I couldn't ignore. Oregon is a land of freedom and wilderness that demands freedom, populated by people who cherish their rights. We deserve better than occupation and fear-mongering.
The breaking point came in October 2025, watching peaceful protesters threatened with troop deployments. The timing of the No Kings protests coincidentally inspired me to stop watching from the sidelines and start designing. If they were going to treat peaceful dissent as a threat, I'd help make sure that dissent was impossible to ignore.
The name "Rogue Resistance" isn't just geographic - it's a philosophy. We're going rogue against authoritarianism, rejecting the false choice between silence and extremism. Resistance doesn't have to be intimidating or inaccessible. Sometimes it's a clever t-shirt that makes someone laugh, then think.
My background is in computer science and art, two fields that expose me to incredibly diverse people with wildly different perspectives. Those skills merged into the perfect storm for creating merchandise that's both meaningful and fun. The ideas come from everywhere: personal experience, conversations with fellow progressives, things I've heard and seen at protests. I design what I wish existed in the world.
My approach is simple: meet people where they are. Not everyone wants to wear aggressive slogans, and that's okay. Some of our designs use humor and wordplay to make activism approachable - a conversation starter instead of a confrontation. Others are bold and direct for those ready to make a louder statement. Both matter. Both build community.
I believe the Constitution, despite its historical flaws, provides an elegant framework for protecting our freedoms. The ideals of leaders like Washington and Lincoln inspire me. JFK's definition of liberalism captures what I stand for: defending freedom, embracing progress, and protecting the rights of all people.
Rogue Resistance isn't a corporation - it's one person (me) working evenings and weekends to create gear that helps us show up, speak out, and build community. My vision of success isn't getting rich; it's helping people voice their dissent, supporting protests with wearable solidarity, and making a modest living doing work that fights fascism. Every design is a conversation starter, a signal to others that they're not alone, and a small act of resistance against authoritarianism.
Got an idea for a design? A story about how you've used our gear in your organizing? I want to hear it. Email me at info@rogueresistance.org - this project grows stronger when it's a conversation, not a monologue.
Thanks for being here. Let's make some noise together.

The Long Fight
We're not here for one news cycle. We're here for the long fight.
The resistance isn't a moment. It's a movement. It's infrastructure. It's community defense. It's knowing your rights. It's neighbors helping neighbors. It's whistles alerting workers when ICE shows up. It's businesses refusing to quarter federal agents. It's constitutional resistance backed by the Bill of Rights.
It's the long fight. And we're supplying the merch.
